| MN Fall Festival Halter Classes |
|
A special Halter ring has been built just for you! Let’s have some fun and show off our beautiful Arabian horses. The Arabian Scoring System will be used with five judges. The highest and lowest scores will be eliminated for each horse. The Order of Go shall be determined and posted by the birth date, oldest to youngest in all yearling and two year old classes. All Halter classes will be held as collective classes. However, due to the small, intimate and classy new setting for the Halter classes, the numbers will be limited to assure proper space and safety for all exhibitors. At no time, will there be more than 12 horses in the ring at once. In classes of 12 or more, the following will apply: The horses will be called to the paddock area one Section at a time. Sections will be pre-determined by the Order of Go. The Show Manager does have the authority to adjust the numbers, with proper notification to the exhibitor, to balance out the sections. The horses will enter the ring at a trot, collectively walk, be judged in the center and the scores turned in after each horse. When all the horses in the ring have been judged, the exhibitors are encouraged to line up where they can be seen by the crowd. At that time, they will trot out of the ring one at a time. Scores will not be announced until all the horses have been judged and placings are being awarded. Twenty-five minutes from the start of the first Section or immediately after the last horse exits the ring, the next Section of horses will then enter the ring to be judged. After the last horse in the class is scored, the Top 20, Top 10, or Top 5 will be announced and the handlers will re-assemble the horses in the paddock in preparation to re-enter the ring at which time the top placings, Reserve Champion and Champion will be awarded. |
